I don't know if I'll get around to replying to everyone's replies to my second-to-the-last entry until later, simply because I have a bunch of stuff I need to get done first. :) Though I do hope you all are having a great evening! OK, I'm going to go register for classes now. :D
After swearing to not get out of my pjs, I got into outside work clothes (i.e. short, sports bra and tennis shoes) to mow the lawn. Well, I think I broke the lawn mower because it won't start for me anymore. Oops.
So I went inside and did the dishes, cleaned the bathroom, vacuumed (the floors and windows - there were too many spiders and webs for my liking) and washed and hung the clothes. I still need to get them off the clothesline, come to think of it. Oh, I went down to the lake with the dogs and gave them a bath, as well as bathed there myself. They look so purdy now...they are all fluffy and clean. They are also worn out, sleeping at in a corner of the iving room. :) The water was so warm today! It was excellent!

It looks like another long night of movies for me. :) I've finished Father of the Bride II already and am now watching Wimbledon. I swear to you, I'm going to marry Paul Bettany, with or without Jennifer Connelly's permission. :P
I shall see some of you at the chat tonight and some of you, I'm already talking to. :)
Now, I know you are all wondering if I would *still* take him back after everything that has happened between us. It is hard to answer. I can honestly say that if he came back six months to a year from now the answer would be no. I want to enjoy time doing everything single college seniors do because, you know, I haven't been single in years. I don't want to have to feel like I should answer to anyone. I want to be just me. If he was to come back after that, then we will see. I'm not putting my life on hold.
You know what I realized last night? If I can get the money I may actually be able to travel to Russia someday! I'd like to get a PhD in Russian History, so it would be an awesome experience someday! It's a goal to aim for. :D There is so much I want to do now!!! I am thrilled about this next stage in my life. I know that no matter what happens, when I am 80 I will look back on my life and think, 'God was good to me.'
God bless everyone!
This has just so not been my day! I woke up at the crack of dawn this morning (OK, it wasn't really...it was more like my alarm was set for 6:45 but I finally forced myself out of bed at 7:30) to go to work at 8:45. THEN upon getting to work what did I find? That Emily (aka me) didn't have to be at work until 10 fucking 30. But I was there, so I stayed. And I was there until 7 fucking o'clock after thinking the entire week that I worked until 5:30 today. That sucked, to say the least.
Hopefully tomorrow will be better. I work 8:45-5:30 at the gift shop and I like working at the gift shop.
So, as you all know we went to my grandparents' home which isn't too far from you, almond_joyz , they live in Dassel, MN.
The 23 nothing really happened except for going out for pizza and playing loads of Rook. In which case, both teams I was on won (woohoo!).
On the 24, Brandon and I drove to Hutchinson around noon and I showed him the area a little bit. We had four o'clock church which was great (have I mentioned I love Christmas carols?) and then we ate. Tons and tons and tons of food. The highlight for me were the potatos and the meringue cookies. Ooh, and the Swedish meatballs. Those were really good too. Oh, and I almost forgot about the lefse. OK, I'm done with that tangent now. After dinner, we opened presents. The coolest thing I got? The book Son of a Witch. I probably won't get around to reading it for another six months but it's fun to look at it.
The 25 we went to Bird Island, MN and visited with my mom's uncle and aunt and cousins. I got the almond in the (I have no idea how to spell this dish) ustacaca(?). Maybe someone w/a better handle on Swedish spelling can help me with that. Either way, you have to understand I absolutely loathe this stuff (its got a weird consistency to it) and the only reason I took it was b/c I saw the almond and therefore, got the prize for the finding the almond. Pathetic, I know...it was a little door hanging thing that said 'Joy.' Very cute. The I forgot it. Oops. :D
So, that was my holiday...and it's not over yet! We have gifts to open from each other (Mom, Dad, Me, Hannah & Brandon) when my mom gets home in a couple of days.
Anyway, I'm glad to hear everyone else had such a great holiday! Happy New Year, everyone!
...had a job that allowed me to have the weekends off. But, alas, I don't. So I must content myself with working all day today and tomorrow and having the evenings off.
So tonight from 5:30 (when I get off) until 8:00ish I will be rereading belovedranger's QEU universe and actually leaving reviews! (I knew there was a reason I didn't review the first times I read her stuff: so that I could reread them later!) I'm loving every minute of it. :D
At eight, the new Reba is on. I'm such a dork: I love that stupid show. Barbara Jean makes me laugh and so does Van. It's just a good show, imho.
Somewhere in all of this laziness I will maybe do homework. Although, it is also quite possible that I will do the dishes in an effort to avoid doing homework. ;) God, I'm terrible aren't I?
With that, I hope everyone has a great day! And, happy birthday to shiningstar_82! May it be a wonderful day!
